Peggy McManus who died peacefully at South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen on 6th October 2025 in her 93rd year.
Dearly beloved wife to the late Hugh. Loving mother of Cormac (Mary), Ann, Mairead (John), Hugh (Caroline), Liam (Jolene), Majella (Jimmy) and the late Patricia and Leontia.

Loving grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and sister to Bridget and the late John.
We wish to thank all those who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, social media messages, phone calls, brought food, helped and supported us.

Sincere thanks to Fr. McManus for the beautiful Requiem Mass and for calling to the house. Thank you to Canon McGourty for prayers at the hospital and in the family home.

Our thanks also to funeral ministers Gerry Gallagher and Ursula Monaghan for prayers in our home and prayers at the grave side.
We would like to thank Sacristans Eileen Montague and Anne McFarland, the Legion of Mary for praying the Rosary in our home and the Ederney Prayer Group for prayers in the Church.
Our gratitude to Eleanor Farry and Vincent Carr for the beautiful music and hymns and to Claire and Charlie O’Donnell for the beautiful song and music at the graveside.

We especially appreciated the guards of honour provided by St Joseph's Primary School, Ederney and St Mary's College, Irvinestown and to St Paul's Primary School, Irvinestown for the candles and prayers in their church.
Our special thanks to the staff at Ederney surgery, especially Michelle McGoldrick and nurse Linda Saunderson, to ambulance staff Terry McHugh and Ray Gallagher who attended to mum on the 6th October. And we are so very grateful to Alan Curtis and Jason Ginn for their help.
Our deep gratitude to the staff of the SWAH Emergency department especially nurse Clare O’Donnell, for their exceptional care and kindness to mum.

Thank you also to the Health Professionals who looked after mum's needs during her lifetime; Western Rural Healthcare Ederney Surgery, Eugene and the staff of McGrade’s Pharmacy, Ederney and Brendan Lilley, The Medical Hall, Irvinestown.
To Joe Mahon and the staff of Mahons Hotel, Irvinestown, our thanks for the lovely refreshments after the funeral and to St Joseph's G.A.C. for the use of their premises.
We thank the generosity of those who made donations to the St. Vincent dePaul.
Our thanks also to the grave diggers.

Finally, we would like to thank Claude McKervey, Funeral Director, and Patsy Dolan for the dignified and professional handling of the funeral arrangements.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Peggy’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 7th November at 7.30pm in St. Joseph's Church, Ederney.
