The family of the late Peggy Traynor (RIP) wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with and supported us during our recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful for all the prayers, mass, sympathy cards and messages we received. We send our gratitude to the many that attended the wake and funeral. To our family, friends and neighbours, especially Sheila Robinson, Antoinette Traynor and Mary O’Neill we thank you for your support and help. Thank you to all mummy’s wonderful nieces and nephews for carrying out the readings, prayers of the faithful, gifts and the coffin. We are eternally grateful to Eugene McAtasney who attended to mummy with the St Padre Pio glove. Our sincere thanks to The Friary Surgery Armagh, Moy district nurses, acute care team, Gordons Chemist Moy and Marie Curie nurses for their compassionate care.

We also wish to thank Father Thomas McHugh for his heartfelt celebration of the Requiem Mass and to Fr Garrett Campbell for keeping mum in his prayers and masses. Thank you to the Sacristans Eileen Keegan and Mickey Casey and to the Nugent family for preparing the grave. Thank you to Siobhan Robinson for the beautiful music and voice during the ceremony and to Rory Madden for playing the piano. Thank you to Collegeland GAA for supplying the boiler, to Bronagh at Blackwater hall for the chairs. Thank you to Marian and all the staff at the Ryandale Hotel for the beautiful meal after the burial and to Cordelia’s Takeaway for the food during the wake. We would also like to thank John Gill and Andrea for preparing mum’s mass booklet.

Finally to Patsy and Edel at Taggart funeral services for their compassion, kindness and dignified manner in which you carried out the funeral arrangements and your support to us all through the entire process, it was greatly appreciated. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually and we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.

The month mind Mass for Peggy will be celebrated on Thursday 27th November at 7pm in St Peter’s Church, Collegeland.

St Padre Pio pray for her.
Our Lady of Knock pray for her.

Have you considered?
