The death has occurred of:
Peter (Pete) McAvoy
The family of the late Peter McAvoy wish to express their sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all those who extended their sympathy, kindness and support following their recent sad loss.
We are deeply touched by the generosity of everyone who visited our home, attended the funeral, sent Mass or sympathy cards, offered messages of comfort, or assisted us in any way. Your kindness and support have meant so much to us during this difficult time.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Father Maciej Zacharek for his spiritual guidance and for officiating at Peter’s beautiful Requiem Mass. Our thanks also go to Niamh Murray for her wonderful musical contribution.
A special word of thanks to the District Nursing Team, and in particular to Emma Ligget, for the outstanding care, compassion and kindness shown to Peter. Your dedication and support brought great comfort to Peter and to our family, and will always be remembered with sincere gratitude.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to McAlinden & Murtagh Funeral Directors for their endless compassion, guidance and professionalism during what has been an extremely difficult time.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our profound gratitude and appreciation.
Peter’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Saturday 19th September at 6.00pm in St Peter’s Church, Lurgan.
