Peter (Start) Devlin

The family of the late Peter Devlin wish to express our deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation to all who supported us during our recent bereavement.

We are profoundly thankful to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent floral tributes, Mass cards, and shared messages of sympathy. Your kindness brought us great comfort.

To our extended family, neighbours, and friends—thank you for your invaluable assistance with preparations and for standing by us during this difficult time. We are especially grateful to the community of Stewartstown for the care and friendship shown to Peter throughout his life.

A special word of thanks to Fr. John McCallion for his spiritual support and comforting words, and for celebrating the Requiem Mass. Our appreciation also goes to Siobhan Robinson and Rory Madden for the beautiful music, and to all who contributed to making Peter’s Funeral Mass so meaningful.

We extend heartfelt thanks to Funeral Directors Patsy Taggart and Edel Taggart for their guidance and the dignified manner in which they carried out the arrangements, and to Gary Harte for preparing Peter’s final resting place.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our gratitude.
May Peter’s gentle soul rest in peace.

St. Padre Pio, pray for him.

“You are missed beyond words and loved beyond measure. Forever in our hearts.”

Peter’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in the Church of St. Brigid, Brocagh on Thursday, 15th January at 7:30 pm.
