We, the family of the late Peter Connolly, wish to extend our gratitude to everyone who expressed their sympathy and support to us during our recent bereavement.
We are grateful to everyone who paid their respects at the wake, sent Mass or sympathy cards, shared their condolences online and all who attended the funeral. We are truly grateful to our extended family, friends and neighbours for the respect, kindness and outstanding support they gave us during the wake and funeral.
Thank you to everyone who donated money to the church fund. Heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. John Chester, Rev. Fr Tom O'Connor SPMS, Rev. Fr. Gabriel Dolan SPMS and Deacon Stephen Sherry for celebrating the Requiem Mass and for the choir for the beautiful music. Thank you to all who participated in the guard of honour and for Brian's Bar and their staff who served food after the funeral. Thank you to the emergency services for their support in the early hours on the morning of Peter's death. We are deeply grateful to Connolly Funeral Directors for their compassion and professionalism in arranging the wake and funeral and giving us, the family peace of mind in knowing that everything was being organised to the highest of standards.
As it is impossible to thank you all individually, please accept this acknowledgement of the family's appreciation of your support.
Peter's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 23rd November at 10:30am in St. Tierney's Church, Roslea.
