Peter Keelagher’s month’s memory Mass will be held on Saturday 6th April 2024 at 7.00pm in St. Mary’s Church, Brookborough.

Peter Keelagher, formerly of 12 Whinny Road, Ramult, Fivemiletown, Co. Tyrone. BT75 0SS. Died 9 March 2024 at Altnagelvin Hospital. The family of the late Peter Keelagher would like to express our deep appreciation to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Peter was a widely respected gentleman, dearly loved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and neighbour.

Words cannot express our heartfelt thanks to our extended families, friends, neighbours and local community who sympathised and helped during this very difficult time.

We are truly grateful to our very dear friends and neighbours who were involved in providing food and refreshments during the wake and giving their time so generously especially to the Mc Girr Family, Mc Manus Family, Balfour Family and Coulter family for all their help. Also, to Leam Agric, Balcas and Northwick House for their understanding and support during this period. And to Clogher Valley Rugby Club and Campbell Contracts for their help at the wake and with traffic. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. To those who sent Mass and Sympathy cards, letters, flowers, gifts and to those who left messages online or via social media. Sincere gratitude is also given to those who attended the wake, lined the funeral route or joined us at the funeral mass.

A special word of thanks to Father Brendan Gallagher PP for his spiritual support and guidance, conducting the beautiful requiem mass and all those who took part in the mass. Thanks to our wonderful singer Karen Mc Elroy who really was incredible. Thank you to Paul and Yvonne Mohan Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, the funeral arrangements were carried out and also to the gravedigger for preparing Peters final resting place.

Also, our thanks to the Valley Hotel for providing refreshments after the funeral. We also send out heartfelt thanks to the medical and nursing staff whom Peter came into contact in his recent illness, especially the staff in Ward 4 and 31 in Altnagelvin Hospital, who cared for Dad in his final days with great dignity and compassion. It is impossible to thank everyone individually so please accept this acknowledgement as gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Peter will be forever loved and is sadly missed may his gentle soul be granted eternal rest.
