Peter McElarney
The family of the late Peter McElarney wish to express their sincere appreciation to all who offered their sympathy, support and kindness following their very sad loss.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who attended the wake and funeral Mass, sent sympathy cards, messages of condolence, or supported us in any way. Your presence and kindness have been a great comfort to us during this difficult time.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Father Colum Wright for celebrating Peter’s Requiem Mass, and to Niamh Murray for providing the beautiful music. Our gratitude is also extended to the Church sacristan and volunteers for their help and assistance.
Our sincere thanks go to all the staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital, especially Ward 6F, who cared for Peter with such kindness, compassion and dignity. Your care will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to McAlinden & Murtagh Funeral Directors for their support, guidance and professionalism, and for conducting Peter’s funeral arrangements with such care, dignity and sensitivity.
We also wish to thank The Stables Bar for hosting us afterwards, The Flower Boutique for the beautiful floral arrangements, Taghnevan Youth Club for providing catering equipment, and everyone who kindly sent food to the wake. A special word of thanks to Louise for all her support throughout this difficult time. Your generosity and kindness meant so much to us.
Although it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our deep appreciation for the support shown to us.
The Month’s Mind Mass for Peter will take place tomorrow, Saturday 5th September at 7pm in St Paul’s Church, Lurgan.
