Philippa Geraldine Esther (Gerry) Hewitt (née Bambridge)
Hewitt (née Bambridge) – Philippa Geraldine Esther, known affectionately as Gerry, late of Lisbarnett Road, Lisbane. Passed away peacefully at the Ulster Hospital on Wednesday 3rd December 2025, after a brief illness, aged 91.
Gerry was the devoted wife of the late Hugh Hewitt. She was a loving and kind sister to the late Brian and Cora (Paddy), and is survived by her brother Robin, and her two sons, Christopher and Jonathan, and their wives, Joan and Alison, respectively.
Following a successful career in the civil service, Gerry continued to live a very independent, active, and social life. She will be remembered for her immense kindness and willingness to go out of her way to help anyone.
She will be sorely missed by her entire family circle, including her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who adored her.
Private cremation has already taken place, as per her wishes.
