It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Phil McCauley née Canning, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family on 26th December 2025.
Late of 80b Culmore Rd. May she rest in peace.
Beloved wife of Tony. Devoted mother of Aisling and Ronan. Dearest mother-in-law of Stephen and Tricia. A much loved nana of Aoifin, Keenan, Daire, Ruairí and Grace and great-nana to wee Ruadhán. Beloved daughter of the late Jack and Chrissie. Loving sister of Jackie, Cyril, May, Bernie, Eileen, Monica, Geraldine, Marvin, Paul, Dave and Carol. A dear friend of Mary Moran. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends.
Phil’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 80b Culmore Rd from 1pm tomorrow afternoon, Saturday 27th December. Funeral leaving from there on Monday 29th December at 9:15am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
The wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am.
