Patricia, Joan, Phylis, Carol and the entire family of the late Philomena (Philly) McCann, Derrybeg Drive, Newry wish to express our sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to all those who supported us during our recent sad bereavement.
We extend a special thanks to Canon Francis Brown for his comforting words and lovely requiem mass and Janice Gribben for her beautiful singing.
We would also like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us during this difficult time - those who sent Mass cards, flowers, food and thoughtful messages of sympathy, and to those who lined the route, attended the funeral or called to the house. We are truly grateful.
We would also like to thank the District Nurses, GP’s and staff from Meadowlands GP Practice and Pharmacy, the staff of A&E and Female Surgical in Daisy Hill Hospital, and the carers from Ann’s Home Care and Extra Care services who looked after Mum so well over the past few years.
A word of thanks to McGennity Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our deep appreciation.
The Month’s Mind mass will be celebrated on Saturday 19th March in St Brigid’s Church, Newry at 7.30pm.
