SWALES, Phoebe Ellen (née Woods).
Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, 29th September 2026 at the age of 96.
Beloved wife of the late Albert. Much-loved Mum of Margaret, June, Albert, Helen and David, and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.
A loving, generous, caring woman and although she is no longer with us physically, the love she shared and the lessons she taught will remain in our hearts forever. Her kindness, generosity, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her. Phoebe can rest peacefully, knowing how deeply she was loved and how greatly she will be missed.
Phoebe will be resting at Wilton Funeral Directors, Ravenhill Road, Belfast. Viewing from 8.30 - 6.00 on Friday and Monday.
A huge thank you to all of the staff and carers at Killynure House for the wonderful care they gave our Mum with such compassion, patience and love every day. It gave the family such peace of mind knowing she was in their care.
The family extends a special thank you to all the staff, nurses and doctors at The Royal Victoria Hospital for their care, compassion, and support.
Funeral Service will take place at Roselawn Crematorium on Tuesday 6th October at 2.40pm.
