Phyllis Watson
Watson, Phyllis - R.I.P. Formerly of High Street, Newry. Passed away, aged 92, on 1st December 2025 at her daughter’s home in Cherrywood Grove, Newry.
Beloved wife of the late Lewis Watson, a loving mother to Lewis (Stella), Geoff (Trish), Raymond (Shu-Ling), Pauline (Des Coghlan), June (John Duffy) and Charmaine (Sean Quinn), a devoted grandmother to Lewis, Judith, Kylie, Tiernan, Dean, Paul, Laura, Toraigh, Dara, Leeann, Sabrina, Michelle, John-C, Cara and Mark.
Phyllis’ remains will repose in McGennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ this evening (Monday 1st December) from 7pm until 9 pm. House private tomorrow (Tuesday 2nd December) please. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (3rd December) at 12.30pm in St. Catherine’s church, Dominic Street, Newry. Burial afterwards in Cloughoge cemetery. Requiem Mass may be viewed online on the livestreaming link below.
Very deeply loved by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all the family circle.
