Acknowledgement
PJ Gallagher, Omagh, Co Tyrone.
Died 14th October 2025.

We the family of the late PJ, are deeply grateful to all those who offered their condolences, prayers and support during our recent sad bereavement.

PJ was the devoted husband of Angela and adored father of Michael, Ursula and Tara. Father in law of Terry and Anthony and dearly loved grandfather of James, Ava, Finn and Sophia. Much loved brother, brother in law, uncle, cousin and friend.
Thank you to everyone who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home, helped or brought food, this was greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu. Thank you to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Requiem Mass.

We are blessed to have had the love and support of friends, neighbours and work colleagues, throughout this difficult time, which has helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Padraig MacKenna P.P. for his spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the sacristan and everyone who took part in the liturgy, especially our readers and our singer Fergal McAloon who provided beautiful, reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, and also to Sheenagh of Bumblebee Garden for the lovely floral tributes and the St. Patrick’s Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the Mass. Thank you also to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the medical professionals and carers with whom PJ came into contact, especially the staff of Omagh Palliative Care Ward. We are very grateful for all your help and for the kindness and respect shown to PJ.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our gratitude and appreciation.

PJ is loved and missed every day. May his gentle, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Our Lady, pray for him.
