We would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us following the sad passing of Richard, our much-loved husband, Dad and Granda.
We are deeply grateful to all who called at the family home, attended the Service of Thanksgiving, sent cards, messages and kind words, and offered comfort in so many thoughtful ways. Your prayers, presence and support have meant more to us than words can say during this difficult time.
A special word of thanks goes to Joanne and Sharon for all they did in helping to run the wake and support the family. Your kindness, care and practical help were greatly appreciated by us all.
We also extend our sincere thanks to the Rev Drewe McConnell, the leadership and the congregation of First Limavady Presbyterian Church. The care, compassion and spiritual support shown to Richard and to our family throughout his illness gave us great strength and comfort.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to Brown Funeral Directors, and particularly to Kyra, for the dignity, guidance and support shown to us throughout the difficult process of laying our loved one to rest.
We have been truly blessed by the support and kindness shown to us. Richard was deeply loved and will be forever missed, but we take comfort in knowing how much he was respected, remembered and cared for by so many.
Richard’s memory will live on through the cherished moments we shared and the many memories we hold dear. He touched the lives of so many, and all who knew and loved him will continue to carry him in their hearts.
