We the family of the late Rita McConvey wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
Thank you to the doctors at Meadowlands Surgery, the District Nursing Team, Anne’s Home Care Staff and McNally’s Pharmacy for all their help and compassionate care to Rita during her illness.
Thanks to all those friends and neighbours who paid their respect at her wake and funeral. To those who sent thoughtful cards, messages of condolences, gifts and flowers. Your kindness is very much appreciated.
A special word of thanks to Fr Vincent McKay for the beautiful Requiem Mass and his words of comfort during this sad time. Thanks to Saffyre for their beautiful music during the mass and to Sean McAlea (Parish Sacristan), Sally Montgomery (Parish Eucharistic Minister) and John Murray (Parish Funeral Ministry) for their support and kindness.
Also, a word of thanks to the staff of French's Cafe & Bistro, Clough for supplying the food and refreshments after the funeral and thanks to Mary McCargo and Maureen McCargo at Dunsford Cross Community Resource Centre for the use of their facilities.
Our sincere thanks go to Ciaran Fitzpatrick from Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors, Downpatrick for their excellent guidance, compassion, and professionalism in carrying out Rita’s funeral arrangements, and to Tom Edgar for looking after her grave.
It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our heartfelt gratitude.
Rita’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated at 10.00 am on Sunday the 11th January in St Marys Church, Dunsford.
