The death has occurred of:
Robert (Bert) McVeigh
The family of the late Robert McVeigh wish to express their sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all those who extended their sympathy, kindness and support following their recent loss.
We are deeply touched by the generosity of everyone who visited our home, attended Robert’s funeral, sent Mass or sympathy cards, offered messages of comfort, or helped us in any way during this difficult time. Your kindness and support have meant more to us than words can express.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Father Desmond Loughran PP for his spiritual guidance and for officiating at the beautiful Requiem Mass.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to Pat McAlinden, Una McStravick and the Tullylish Choir for their exceptional musical contributions, which added greatly to the Mass.
A special word of thanks goes to the doctors and nurses at Gilford Health Centre, and to the paramedic who attended on the morning of Robert’s passing. We will always be grateful for the outstanding care, compassion and dignity shown to Robert and to our family. Your kindness has been a great comfort to us.
We would also like to thank Gilberry Fayre for the excellent catering provided, and Tullylish GAC for the generous use of their hall. Your support and thoughtfulness were deeply appreciated.
Our sincere thanks go to McAlinden and Murtagh Funeral Directors for their unwavering compassion, guidance and professionalism throughout what has been an extremely difficult time. Their care and support were greatly appreciated by our family.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our profound gratitude and appreciation. To each and every one of you, thank you sincerely for your kindness, prayers and support.
Robert’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Saturday, 24th October at 6.00pm in St Patrick’s and St Colman’s Church, Laurencetown.
