We, the family of the late Robert Chesney, 60
Carlane Road, Toomebridge, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who extended sympathy and support on our recent sad bereavement. We are deeply touched by the kindness shown to us as a family.
Thank you to everyone who called at the family home, brought food, telephoned, sent messages, cards and letters of condolences, attended the funeral or helped in any other way. Your presence, compassion and support did not go unnoticed.
A special word of thanks to all the carers from Optimum Care who cared for Robert so attentively over the last 3 years - we are indebted to you all.
Thank you also to the staff at Randalstown Health Centre, Randalstown Pharmacy, Antrim Area Hospital Emergency department and the Acute Medical Ward for their care and attention.
Sincere thanks to Rev Trevor McNeill for his pastoral care, conducting the service in the home and the service of thanksgiving in the church with much thoughtfulness and care and to the Kirk session, committee and members of Duneane Presbyterian Church for all their help and preparation for the funeral service.
Grateful thanks to Jill Pearson for her poignant and touching music, to Edith Blair and her staff for their efficient and professional catering despite the large numbers in attendance and to Bairds of Antrim Funeral Directors for all their help following Robert’s passing and in helping us to organise the funeral service and all associated arrangements.
We are indebted to all those who donated so generously to Children’s Heartbeat Trust in lieu of flowers, a charity very close to our hearts for the past 18 years.
