ACKNOWLEDGEMENT / MONTH'S MIND MASS
Late Robert Joseph (Ronnie, R.D.) DEEHAN
Mary and family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for all the kindness, support and sympathy we received before, during and since the bereavement of our much loved Ronnie - husband, father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.
A special word of thanks to Fr Joe Gormley for his support during Ronnie’s long illness and for the beautiful and memorable Funeral Mass at which he officiated. Isobel and Erin your music and singing was perfect many thanks. Thank you too Fr Roni Zacharias for your visits and Prayers during the Wake it was so spiritual and much appreciated.
Our forever thanks go to all the dear neighbours and friends in Elmgrove who were there constantly with their kindness and support throughout Ronnie’s illness and wake and to all who called at the house with or sent Mass Cards, flowers or donations as well as those who ensured a never ending supply of food we thank you all. We cannot forget or thank enough the many yarn spinners who kept us in stitches relaying the many stories they told of Ronnie throughout his life.
To all the Doctors, Nurses and reception staff in Aberfoyle Medical who took such good care of Ronnie and who always had time no matter how busy for one of his jokes (no matter how often they were repeated ) it meant so much to him and us and we thank you all. To the many Carers who looked after Ronnie so well during his illness and who became part of our lives too you will always be in our hearts and Prayers.
We will be eternally grateful to the doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals of the Hospital at Home care team led by Dr Todd for the care, kindness and patience which oozed from each and every one of you and which meant so much to Ronnie and us in the final weeks of his life. We were truly Blessed.
Finally our sincere thanks to Bradley & McLaughlin especially Joe, Paul and Charles for the friendly and efficient manner they carried out their duties throughout the wake and funeral. You certainly did R D proud. Himself, his old friend Mambo and their (and your) old boss John RIP will be having the last laugh now!
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Ronnie’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 18th October at 12.30pm in St Brigid’s Church, Carnhill.
