The death has occurred of:
Robert William Wilson
Adrian & Graham, brothers of the late William Robert Wilson (John) would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with them during their recent bereavement.
To those who visited Robert and prayed for him and us during his short illness and gave pastoral support, and to the doctors, nurses, community nursing team, the carers from Optimum Care, Galgorm Care home and Grace Care for their help and kindness.
We would like to thank family, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community for the love and support shown. For all the telephone calls, texts, cards and messages received. We were overwhelmed by the number of likes / emojis and very moving comments on James Henry Funeral and other Facebook pages. Also, for all who have called into the shop to express personal condolences and share stories of how Robert touched their lives or helped them in some way, an indication of how widely respected he was.
To all who called at the home, brought food and the ladies who worked so hard in serving the food. It was very kind of so many to attend the funeral, especially those who travelled a long distance. We were deeply touched to see those who waited at the side of the road to pay respects to Robert and show support as the funeral cortege drove past.
Special thanks to those who read the scriptures, ministered and prayed at the wake and funeral services, for all who prayed for us and who continue to do so.
To Peter Campbell for his very personal tribute, John A Fleck for the excellent sound system he set up at home, the gravediggers, Second Broughshane for the use of the Church Hall for tea after the funeral and Delightful Bites for providing the refreshments.
Finally, grateful thanks to all the team at James Henry Funeral Services for their help, sensitivity, professional competence and dignity as always. We heard many favourable compliments about the design and quality of the beautiful hymn sheets and the courteous deportment of the Funeral Directors. We especially appreciate and commend James, Sam and John for their advice, sympathetic care and precision to detail, but above all for their valued friendship and support along the way.
As it would be impossible to thank each one individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
