Passed away peacefully on 10th February 2026 at his home Glenside Park Drumbo. Loving husband of Edna and much-loved father of Julianne, Owen and Ralph, father-in-law to Sue,Duncan and Sue. Adored grandfather and great grandfather.

A service of thanksgiving will take place on Tuesday 17th February at 12 noon in Crescent Church, University Road, Belfast.

We are so sad to hear that Uncle Ronnie has died. Throughout my life, from childhood and through marriage, he was a steady presence who over many years showed much love to me and my wife Prem. Edna and Ronnie have been very kind to us. I have fond memories, as a child, teenager and adult, of Ronnie taking me on many trips around Northern Ireland. He was a lovely man, with a strong faith in Jesus, who blessed many people. Our thoughts and prayers are with my aunty Edna, Julianne, Owen and Ralph and the rest of the family. It was with genuine sorrow and sadness that I learned about my uncles passing. Although living in Canada for my entire life, I and my wife, Gillian, have relished those times we have had visiting my uncle and aunt over the years both here in Canada when they visited, and on those occasions when we were privileged to visit them in the UK.
