Ronald (Ronnie) CALLAGHAN
9 Wheatfield Gardens, Coleraine. The family wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. To all who called at the family home, brought gifts, telephoned, sent cards and letters of condolence, attended the funeral or helped in any other way. Your compassion and sensitivity did not go unnoticed.
Special thanks to the medical staff in the A&E Department and Surgical Ward 2 of the Causeway Hospital for their dedicated care and attention.
Sincere thanks to Rev Keith Hibbert for his pastoral care in the hospital, conducting the funeral service in the home and in the church with such attention and empathy. Sincere thanks also to Rev Jack Moore for his fitting eulogy in presenting Ronnie’s life in such a memorable fashion. Grateful thanks to Roberta Scott, the organist, for her poignant and touching music, to the PW ladies for providing the lovely tea, and to all who have donated so generously to the Macmillan Nurses in lieu of flowers.
Finally, thanks to Hugh Wade & Son Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional way they carried out the funeral arrangements. We would like to personally thank Dougie, who worked alongside us organising the funeral service and other arrangements.
