Rosie Byrne (née Meegan)
Rosie (formerly of Drumboat, Inniskeen) passed away peacefully at Evora Hospice, Newry, surrounded by her devoted family, on 16th January 2026. May she rest in peace.
Beloved wife of Malachy and much-loved mother of Shane, Niamh, Micheal and the late Glen RIP. Cherished grandmother of Kyle, Shéa, Hugo and Olive. Dear daughter of the late Kevin RIP and May Meegan, and loving sister of Stephanie, Barney, John and Audrey. Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for her.
Rosie will be reposing at her home, 4 Newtown Road, Camlough, BT35 7JH, from 12 to 9 pm on Saturday, 17th January and 12 to 9 pm on Sunday, 18th January.
Funeral leaving her home on Monday, 19th January at 10.30 am for 11 am Requiem Mass in St Malachy’s Church, Carrickcruppen. Interment afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Sheeptown, Saval.
Rosie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, sons, daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, her mother, brothers, sisters and the entire family circle and friends. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
