The Family of the late, great, Roy Arbuckle would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us, supported us and sympathised with us in our mourning.
It would be impossible to name you all, but to all those who telephoned, travelled from across the globe, sent letters, cards, messages and flowers, to everyone who came to the house and to the service, to those who performed in celebration of his life, and all who shared their wonderful memories of Roy with us, please know that each and every one of you made a huge impact on us and helped us through this most trying of times.
We would especially like to thank Adair & Neely Funeral Directors. Mark and the rest of the team were incredible. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and professionalism.
To Alison and all the Guildhall staff and management, thank you for taking such great care of us all and presenting the Guildhall so beautifully. Having Roy’s funeral and the celebration of his life in this historic building, allowed Roy to continue making history, in his own inimitable way.
To Dan & Leanne, our deepest thanks for organising the performances, sound engineering and MCing the celebration of Roy with such warmth and care.
To all the musicians, poets and singers, you made it such a wonderful reflection of Roy.
To Sam Hanna, our Celebrant, thank you for leading the funeral service with such thoughtfulness and dignity.
