Ryan DONNELLY

Ryan Donnelly, Ballykeel Co.Tyrone
Died 22nd December 2025

The family of the late Ryan Donnelly, his parents Hughie and Rita, and his sister Orla wish to express our deep gratitude to everyone who helped and supported us during and since our tragic loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to our family and kind neighbours whose help meant so much to us when we needed it most.

We would like to thank all who called at our home, brought cards, attended the wake at Farley’s Funeral Home, helped out, brought food and sent us messages of sympathy and support. We thank the emergency services in particular the First Responders, PSNI and Coroner for their compassionate attendance and assistance.

We thank Fr Sean McCartan for his attendance at our home, for his prayers and support and for his earnest and comforting words at Ryan’s funeral mass.

We thank everyone that attended Ryan’s funeral, Sylvia the sacristan and those who took part in the mass, especially our readers, gift bearers, altar servers, eucharistic minister and Claire McAleer for her beautiful music and singing during the funeral mass. Thank you for making the ceremony so meaningful. Thank you, Ciaran Conroy, for preparing Ryan’s final resting place, to Ryan’s closest family and friends who carried the coffin and thank you to Beragh Red Knights members for the guard of honour.

We thank from our hearts, Oonagh and Ronan Donnelly who stayed by our side at all times and who were, and remain, an invaluable source of comfort and strength at this difficult time. A special thanks also to Young John Donnelly who was a tremendous support to us throughout, we are so grateful to you John.

We thank Fergal Farley for the kindness and guidance he gave to Ryan, and encouragement regarding his trip to Medjugorje. We thank Farley Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements and refreshments afterwards were carried out. Your compassion to us during the wake and funeral will always be remembered.

We sincerely thank the members of the Parish Medjugorje Group for the friendship they gave to Ryan, their kindness during the wake and funeral, and their continued prayers.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.

May Ryan’s Soul Rest in Peace. Ryan’s Months Mind Mass will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Beragh on Sunday 25th January at 11.30am

Our Lady Queen of Medjugorje, Pray for him.
