The family of the late Hector Mackenzie, who sadly passed away on 5th December 2025, wish to express our deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for the tremendous love, support, and kindness shown to us during our time of bereavement.
We sincerely thank all our family and friends who offered prayers, comforting words, visits, messages, and thoughtful gestures. Your kindness has been a great source of strength to us at this very difficult time.
We are especially grateful to those who travelled to be with us. Your presence and effort meant more to us than words can express.
We wish to acknowledge and thank all those who cared for Hector throughout his illness, including the staff in Antrim Area Hospital, Slemish Nursing Home (especially Nurses Catriona, Raisa and Jackie), and the GPs and staff of Maine Medical Practice Ahoghill.
Our sincere thanks to Rev Jim Francis for the caring and professional way in which he led the church service.
We also wish to express our sincere gratitude to Logans Funeral Services, Ahoghill, for their compassionate guidance and professional care throughout Hector's funeral arrangements.
Although we cannot thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our heartfelt thanks and gratitude.
