The death has occurred of:
Seamus Cassidy
We, the family of the late Seamus Cassidy would like to take this opportunity to offer our heartfelt gratitude to all who expressed sympathy & support to us during our recent bereavement.
To our friends, neighbours and extended family who surrounded us with care, to those who visited, brought food, meals & those who helped in every way throughout the following days, your support meant more than you will ever know.
We wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to the Doctors, Marie Curie and District nurses for their care and compassion shown throughout. A special word of thanks to Paul Sheridan for everything he did for Seamus.
We thank the grave diggers for their care & attention in preparing Seamus’ resting place in such a respectful manner and maintaining the tradition of grave digging in the parish.
Thank you to those who paid their respects at the wake, sent Mass or sympathy cards, shared kind messages via social media or texts, to all who generously donated to Marie Curie and to all those who attended the Funeral Mass and to those who travelled from afar.
We extend special thanks to Fr Chester for his support and for celebrating such a beautiful and meaningful Requiem Mass, the readers, the Eucharistic Ministers, Pat McCabe and Roslea Choir and to all that contributed at the celebration of the funeral mass.
We thank Connolly Funeral Directors, Aidan, Sean and especially Mags for her support & professionalism in carrying out her duties with such dignity and compassion, going above & beyond, it did not go unnoticed.
We would also like to thank Brian's Bar, Denise and Declan and all the staff for providing food and refreshments after the funeral.
While it is impossible to acknowledge everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our thanks and appreciation Seamus’ Months Mind Mass will be held on Friday 27th February in St. Macartans Church, Aghadrumsee at 7:00pm as Roslea Church is closed for renovations.
