The death has occurred of:
Seamus Hindman
A letter of Acknowledgment from the family of the late Seamus (WJ) Hindman (Craigstown Road, Randalstown)
We, the family of the late Seamus Hindman, wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who offered their condolences and support following the passing of Seamus.
We are especially grateful to the extended family, neighbours, friends and all who supported us during this incredibly difficult time. We are deeply touched by the kindness and compassion shown - by those who attended the wake, the funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards and messages of comfort, and by all who offered help in anyway. Your support has meant more to us than words can express.
We sincerely thank all who cared for Seamus in Antrim Area Hospital, in ward C4 and the Intensive Care Unit for the care and compassion shown to Seamus and for the comfort and support given to our family.
Our heartfelt thanks to Father Henry McCann and Canon John Forsythe PP for his support and guidance at this difficult time. With special thanks to Una McGill for her beautiful singing and music.
We also wish to express our gratitude to Marrion Funeral Directors in particular Paddy and Dessie for their kindness and professionalism.
As it’s impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token for our appreciation.
We remember Seamus, a hard worker through and through, honest to the core, and someone who always showed up for the people he loved. Seamus made people laugh with his good humour, enjoyed a drink in good company, loved music and somehow had the right advice when you needed it. Creative with his mind and hands, he took great pride in everything.
He will be deeply missed by both his immediate family, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews and grandchildren who all loved him very much. The support shown to us all has been a great comfort during this difficult time.
The Month’s Mind mass will take place on Friday 5th June at 7pm, St MacNissi’s Church, Station Road, Randalstown, BT41 2AF.
