LONERGAN Seamus, (12 Golf Links Road, Newcastle BT33 0AN) Died suddenly 6th April, 2026, dearly loved husband of Maggie, loving father of Sophie, Anna and Gina and brother of Joe, Theresa, Frances, Eamonn and Monica. Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his entire family circle and friends.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his gentle soul.

His remains will leave his late residence at 11.30am on Saturday 11th April 2026 for 12 noon Funeral Service in the Church of our Lady of the Assumption, Newcastle. Burial to follow in St. Patrick’s cemetery, Bryansford.

Our Lady of Knock pray for him.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Young Lives Vs. Cancer, 26 College Gardens, Belfast BT9 6BS.

Our deepest sympathies to Gina, Maggie, Sophie, Anna, and the entire Logan family on the sudden passing of Seamus.
Although we did not have the privilege of knowing Seamus personally, over the past 18 months we have come to know Gina - our deputy chair - through our work together on the AICF volunteer panel. She is a remarkable young woman — intelligent, warm, and deeply personable — and a true credit to her dad and family.
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad and difficult time.
