The death has occurred of:
Seamus McCartney
We the family of the late Seamus McCartney RIP, wish to recognise the kindness of all who sympathised with and supported us following the recent loss of our dearly beloved husband, daddy, granda, brother, uncle and friend. Would like to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised and supported us in our recent bereavement . We are deeply grateful to all our relatives, friends and neighbours that called at the house, helped at the wake, sent mass cards, sympathy cards or attended the funeral, especially those who travelled long distances to be with us to give their support.
We would like to sincerely thank Daddys carers from One2One Support & Care Services, the Marie Curie and NI Hospice palliative care teams, his respiratory team from Antrim Area Hospital, the District Nurses from Randalstown Medical Practice; the wonderful staff from Bellaghy Medical Practice in particular Dr Wright and the staff within Toome Pharmacy for the great care and respect provided to him during his illness. We, as a family, are forever grateful.
Special thanks to Canon John Forsythe for his support, spiritual care and for celebrating Daddy's Requiem Mass, enhanced by the beautiful music of Carole Shivers. Thanks also to St. McNissi's Parish Centre for hosting the refreshments and for Grainne Toal and her team for providing the lovely catering to our guests following the funeral.
And finally, a special thanks to Marrions Funeral Directors for their professionalism, compassion and respectful handling of all the funeral arrangements at this difficult time .
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Seamus's Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Saturday 10th October at 6.00pm in St. MacNissi's Church, Randalstown
