We the family of the late James Joseph (Seamus) McCourt wish to express our sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to all who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, and conveyed kind messages of support.
Special thanks to our extended family, friends, and neighbours for their continued support, to those who provided food and assistance during the wake and particularly those who travelled from afar. Our sincere thanks to Father McCamley for his spiritual support and for celebrating the Requiem Mass. Also, thanks to Grainne Maxwell for her beautiful singing.
We wish to acknowledge the dedicated service of the Emergency Services who attended upon Seamus’ sudden passing and their professionalism in difficult circumstances.
A word of thanks to Peter Devlin and Dorman’s Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified handling of the funeral arrangements. Our thanks to the grave diggers who prepared Seamus’s final resting place.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Seamus's Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated at 12.00 p.m. on Sunday, 23rd November 2025 in St. Malachy's Church, Edendork.
