The death has occurred of:
Seamus McGovern
Mc GOVERN
Seamus
46 Derrychara Drive, Enniskillen.
(Formerly The Bush Bar, Blacklion, Co. Cavan)
We, the family of the late Seamus McGovern, wish to express our profound
appreciation and heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of sympathy and
kindness shown to us following the loss of our dear Dad.
We are deeply grateful to all our family and friends for the love and support given to
us during this very difficult time. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to
our family who helped out in the kitchen and everyone who brought or delivered food
to our homes. Your thoughtfulness and generosity meant so much to us. Although
we cannot thank everyone individually who helped in any way, please know that we
are truly grateful.
To all those who cared for Dad in the North West Cancer Centre, the local Rapid
Response Team, Palliative Care and District Nursing teams, we will be forever
grateful for the exceptional care, compassion and kindness Dad received over the
past two years.
Our sincere thanks to Fr D’Arcy and Fr Comiskey, Fr McDermott & Fr Quinn for the
beautiful and personal Requiem Mass. We are so grateful to Fr D’Arcy for his true
friendship and support to Dad over the years. To all those who stood out along the
route in Enniskillen, Belcoo and Blacklion, your presence was greatly appreciated.
A special thanks to Dad’s friends Nathan Carter, Matthew Crampsey and Sean
Magee for the beautiful singing and music at the funeral. We would also like to
thank Mickey McGillen for all his time and effort in organising the parking.
We are very grateful to Leeanne at Damien McGovern Funeral Directors for her
exceptional professionalism and kindness in guiding us throughout the funeral
arrangements. Her personal touch and support helped us through every step with
such ease.
We would also like to thank Dolores and all the staff at Blacklion Golf Club for
providing the refreshments after Dad’s funeral.
At a time of such great sadness and loss, the love, friendship, stories about Dad and
support shown to our family have been a great source of comfort to us.
We will miss Dad dearly,
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all.
Seamus’s Month’s Mind Mass will be on Sunday 13th September at 10am in
St. Patrick’s Church, Killinagh, Blacklion.
