It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Seamus Quigg on 11th October 2026.
Retired Fire-Fighter.
Late of 19 Grangemore Park, Derry. May he rest in peace.
Beloved husband of Catherine. Devoted father of Rachel, Stephen and Tara. Dearest father-in-law of Marc, Eavan and Evan. Loving Granda of Faye, Darragh, Fionn, Cadhla, Shea, Rua and Carter. Precious son of Desy and Lily. A much loved brother of Olivia, Julie, Raymond, Dessie, Kevin, Laurence and the late Michelle and Terri. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Seamus will be reposing at his late family home, 19 Grangemore Park, from 6pm this evening, Tuesday 13th October. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday 15th October at 9.20am for Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral at 10am. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery.
Wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am.
