Sean passed away peacefully at Belfast City Hospital on 30th August 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a devoted husband to Martina, loving father to Gerard, Danielle and the late Dominic (RIP), father-in-law to Zoe and Caine, and doting granda to Vann, Bleuu, Kouvr, Donnacha and Clíodhna.
Only son of John and Frances, brother to Siobhan, Shane and Sarah, and a great friend to many.

We, his family, wish to express our appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us, prayed for us and supported us during our recent sad bereavement. Thanks to everyone who called at the family home, sent cards and messages, provided food, those who worked tirelessly in the kitchen during the wake, attended the wake or funeral, or helped in so many thoughtful ways. Thanks also to the MACCA Centre for supplying cups, chairs and a boiler for the wake.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Three Spires Surgery, Slevins Chemist, Cappagh Parish Eucharistic Ministers, and Care for Cancer, whose care and compassion supported Sean and our family during his illness.

A special word of thanks to Father Kevin McElhennon and Father Daniel McFaul for their support and prayers and for celebrating the Requiem Mass. Thanks also to all who took part in the liturgy, especially our readers and musician Gerry Loughran, whose music added great comfort to the mass.
Our appreciation also to Father Malachy Gallagher, Father Declan McGeehan and Father Thomas Canning for their support and spiritual guidance.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Donaghy & Montague Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance and compassion, and the gravediggers who prepared Sean’s final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Sean’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 28th September, 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Killyclogher.
