Caroline, Josh, Luke & Alex, together with our wider family circle, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who stood beside us and supported us through this heartbreaking time.

Sean was so deeply loved – a devoted husband, a loving and proud father, a cherished son, brother, brother-in-law, and a loyal friend to many. His presence in our lives meant everything, and his absence is felt every single day.

We are truly grateful to all who came to the wake, attended the Funeral Mass, sent Mass cards, flowers, messages of sympathy, and kept us in their thoughts and prayers. Your kindness and love have carried us through in ways we will never forget.

A special thank you to those who brought food and refreshments. Your thoughtfulness and care meant so much and eased a very heavy burden on our family.

We also want to sincerely thank the ambulance service, and especially the first responders, for the compassion, dignity, and gentleness shown to Sean and to us at such a painful time. It will always stay with us.

Our heartfelt thanks to Michelle Conaghan for her beautiful singing and music, which brought great comfort and made Sean’s Funeral Mass so personal and meaningful. We are also grateful to everyone who took part in the Mass and helped give Sean such a fitting farewell.

We are deeply thankful to Kieran O’Brien of W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors for his kindness, patience, and support, and for guiding us so gently through every step of the arrangements.

We would especially like to thank Fr. Jimmy of Ardmore parish for his kindness and support, for leading the prayers at the wake, and for celebrating the Funeral Mass with such care, dignity and compassion. We are also very grateful to Fr. Paddy of Fahan parish for his prayers and presence at the wake, which brought real comfort to us as a family.

It is impossible to thank everyone individually, but please know that every gesture, no matter how small, has meant so much to us. We will always be deeply grateful.

Sean’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 3rd May at 10am in Ardmore Chapel.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help, pray for him.
