MURRAY, Sharon (nee Gallagher) R.I.P – 15th May 2026, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved partner of Richard. A wonderful and devoted mother of Kelly and Michael, dear mother-in-law of Michael Sloan. A cherished Nana to Freya and Ruadhán. Dearest baby sister of Patrick, Edward, Eileen, Anne, James and Michelle.

Sharon was the heart of her family, she was known for her warmth, kindness and hearty laugh. She brought joy to everyone she met.

House strictly private.

A funeral mass will be held in St Patrick’s Church, Ballynahinch on Monday 18th May at 2pm, followed by a committal in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired online via www.douglasfuneraldirectors.com or cheques payable to “Douglas Donations Account” for Friends of the Cancer Centre, BCH and Marie Curie Cancer Care, c/o 20 Dromore Road, Ballynahinch, BT24 8HP.
