Shaun McGinley
McGinley, Shaun, Eskra, Co Tyrone, formerly of 21 Dunbiggan Road, Eskra, Omagh, BT78 2RR, died peacefully in the South West Acute Hospital on Tuesday 18th August 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Margaret (née McCrory). Treasured father of Michelle, Marisa Beattie (Stephen), Helen Howe (Damien), Shauna McElholm (Joe), Aisling Conway (Eamonn) and James (Anita). Loving and devoted grandfather to his eighteen grandchildren and the late baby Lily RIP. Cherished brother of Celine Mullin (Shaun), Vera McGirr (Charlie), Phil Molloy (Dominic), Brian (Margaret), Patsy (Irene), Pauline and Tina McGeary (Noel). Son of the late James and Rosie.
Shaun will be reposing in his late residence from 5pm, on Wednesday 19th August. For those attending the wake there will be a one-way system in place; from the Newtownsaville Road, via School Road to the Dunbiggan Road.
Shaun will leave his late residence at 1.15pm on Friday 21st August for 2pm requiem Mass in St. Patricks Church, Eskra followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, Shaun will travel from the Dunbiggan Road and along the Killadroy Road, and the Eskra Road, to arrive at St. Patricks Church, for 1.55pm.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, son, sons in law, daughter in law, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, in-laws, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours. Our Lady pray for him.
