Sr Colette McCHRYSTAL
Willie, Dolores, Marie, Phyllis and all the nieces and nephews of the late Sr Colette Mc Chrystal RIP, who passed away on 25th September 2026, wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.
A special word of thanks to the care home staff at Nazareth House, Fahan who cared for Sr Colette in her final years. Your compassion, dedication and kindness shown to Sr Colette is very much appreciated.
To her Sisters in the Nazareth House Order, especially Sr Margaret, Sr Genevieve, Sr Cornelia and Sr Bernadette, thank you for the support and kindness you have shown us over the years since Sr Colette has been based in Fahan and during her illness and final days. To all those Sisters who travelled to be with us on the day of her funeral and all in the extended Order. We appreciate your support and prayers. To her good friend Elaine who had offered friendship and comfort to Sr Colette over the years and to the family at the time of her death. To Aishling who visited Sr Colette regularly and offered kindness and support to her and the family.
Thank you to Fr Mc Guinness for the lovely funeral mass and the organist who provided music at the funeral.
To Kieran O Brien and his team for the compassionate and dignified manner in which they guided the family through this difficult time.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Sr Colette’s month’s mind will be celebrated on Friday 23rd October at 7.30pm in St. Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, Waterside.
