We, the family of the late Susan Reilly, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to everyone who offered their sympathies and support to us during our recent bereavement. We are truly grateful to everyone who attended the wake, funeral and sent messages of condolences, including those who travelled long distances to be with us, to all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, and to those who made donations to The Alzheimer’s Society in Mum’s memory. Your kindness, prayers and support have brought us great solace. Our heartfelt thanks go to our extended family and friends who offered practical support, whether in the form of serving refreshments, cooking hot meals or helping to direct traffic. Also, a big thank you to Declan Leonard, Skip Services Enniskillen, who organised a road sweeper to clear roads, to allow us to safely carry Mum. We extend our sincere thanks to Fr. Kevin Malcolmson for celebrating Mum’s Funeral Mass and for his spiritual guidance and support throughout this difficult time. A heartfelt thanks to all those who participated in the Mass, to the Readers, Eucharistic Ministers and to singer Brenda Rice, your singing and arrangements were a true comfort to our family and extended congregation.
We will be forever indebted to Mum’s Healthcare teams, Home sitters and G.P.s for their years of dedication and compassion. We extend our sincere thanks to Ollie, Ann, Leo and Conor at Swift & McCaffrey Funeral Directors for their guidance, pastoral care, dignity and compassion with which the way everything was handled and to those who prepared Mum’s final resting place with such attention and care. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
Susan’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newtownbutler on Saturday 7th March @ 10am.
