The death has occurred of:
Susan TRAYNOR (née McGettigan)
21 February 2026 peacefully at Culmore Manor, surrounded by her loving family and friends, 8 Dunkeld Avenue Derry and formerly of Kilmacrenan . Beloved wife of the late Laurence loving mother of Christine, Jacqueline, Laurence and Evelyn, mother in law of Martin, Philip, Orla and Patrick, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, dear sister of Mary and the late Daniel, Rose, Catherine, Edward and John, and a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Susan will be reposing in her home, 8 Dunkeld Avenue on Saturday from 7pm – 10 pm and on Sunday from 12 – 10 pm
Funeral from there on Monday at 9.30 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to Ann’s Care Home (resident’s hospitality fund).
