Acknowledgement
The family of the late Sylvia Campbell who passed away on 5th December 2025 would like to extend our deepest heartfelt thanks for all of the kindness and support shown to us during our recent sad bereavement.
Thank you to all who called at the house, called or messaged the family, sent mass and sympathy cards, flowers, provided food and refreshments and those who attended and travelled to be with us at the funeral.
We would like to sincerely thank the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, the staff at Altnagelvin A&E, Dr Malik & the staff at the North West Cancer Centre, Dr Jo Finnerty and the staff within Ward 50, the Foyle Hospice Community Care team, Dr Damien McMullan and the staff at the Foyle Hospice for the compassion shown and dignified care provided to Sylvia during her illness.
A special word of thanks to Fr Joe Gormley and Fr John Forbes for co-celebrating the funeral Mass and to Erin Carlin & Isobel Caldwell for the beautiful singing and music.
The family would like to thank the local Cumann for the support provided to them during this time.
Finally we would like to thank the funeral directors W.J O’Brien and Son for the professional and dignified handling of Sylvia’s funeral arrangements and the support offered to the family during this time.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement is accepted as a token of our appreciation.
Sylvia’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday 5th January 2026 at 7.15pm at Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty.
