The death has occurred of:
Thomas Adrian TEENEY
We, the Teeney and Flynn families, wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported us following the death of our beloved Adrian.
We are deeply thankful to our relatives, friends, neighbours, colleagues and all those who called to the house, attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, flowers and messages, brought food, made donations or shared memories of Adrian. The kindness shown to us during such a difficult time has meant more than we can ever fully express.
Our heartfelt thanks go to all of the healthcare professionals who cared for Adrian throughout his illness, particularly during his final days at home.
We are especially grateful to the District Nursing Team and all those involved in his palliative care for the compassion, dignity and support they gave to Adrian and to our whole family.
We would also like to thank Fr Eamon Magorrian for the beautiful and meaningful Funeral Mass, which celebrated Adrian’s life so fittingly; to Niamh Murray for the beautiful music; and everyone involved in the readings and preparations which made the Mass so personal and special.
Our sincere thanks also go to the funeral directors at Ronnie Thompson’s for their professionalism, compassion and respectful handling of all the funeral arrangements.
We are enormously grateful to everyone who helped during the wake and funeral. Your generosity allowed us to spend precious time together as a family and with those who came to remember Adrian.
The number of people who came to pay their respects, and the many stories shared about Adrian’s kindness, humour and the difference he made in the lives of others, brought us great comfort and reminded us just how deeply loved he was and how many lives he touched.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest appreciation.
Adrian was and continues to be a cherished husband, daddy, granda, brother, relative and friend, and he will be loved and missed beyond words.
“Try a little kindness”
