Family Acknowledgement for the late Thomas "Dermot" Corrigan

Thomas “Dermot” Corrigan, Glenshesk, Cornagrade Road, Enniskillen, died August 23rd “2026

The family of Dermot would like to thank all those who supported them following his sad but peaceful passing.
Special thanks to the Staff of the Grann Nursing Home for their great care of Dermot and kindness at all times to the family and previously to those carers and medical teams who provided excellent care in Dermot’s own home.

To the funeral Directors, John, Paul and Len, (McKeegans) for their dignified attention to detail both during the wake and funeral

To Monsignor Peter O Reilly for his exceptional and very personal eulogy during the service and his unwavering support throughout the days after Dermot’s passing.

We thank everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent floral and other tributes and offered comforting words, particular thanks to those friends travelling long distances to be with us. Sincere appreciation to the principal and girls from Mount Lourdes Grammar School for their dignified and respectful Guard of Honour at the Church.

We very much appreciate Damien and Nicola Hanna “Molly’s Irvinestown” for providing the food at the Wake and the “Enniskillen Hotel” for the lunch following the Service.

Dermot will be sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, his children; Bernie (Tom) Tony (Martina) Caroline (Peter) Niall (RIP), Stephen (Martina) Ciaran (Mandy RIP) Ryan (Karen) Francy (Cara) Veronica and Mary (died in infancy) his 11 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren, his sisters Carol (John) Pamela (Phil RIP) and deceased siblings, Sean, Frankie, Joe and Mary. His sisters-in-law Agnes, Peggy and Madge and brother-in-law Enda and his wider family and friends.

Please accept this acknowledgement as a recognition of the kindness and sympathy shown to the family at this difficult time, it has been a great source of comfort.

Month’s Mind Mass in St Michael’s Church, Enniskillen on Saturday 3rd October 2026 at 6pm.
