The family of the late Gerard McErlean RIP would like to thank all those who sympathised with them on their sad bereavement.
Thanks to family, friends and neighbours who called to the house, attended the funeral, all who sent Mass cards, donations, and messages of sympathy.
A special thanks to Fr Paddy Mc William’s for celebrating Requiem Mass at the house, the funeral service, and his spiritual support over the years. Also, to Fr Pat O’Hagan for the burial at Ballyscullion cemetery.
Our family are also extremely grateful to the doctors and staff of Toome Surgery and Toome Pharmacy for their care of Gerard throughout his illness.
To the many healthcare professionals and carers who helped care for Gerard with such dignity and respect.
A thank you to Moneyglass & Ahoghill GAA clubs for help with the carparking & transport at the wake, to Grange Presbyterian Church for the use of their carpark for the wake, to all who participated at the funeral service and especially Mairead McCloskey for the beautiful singing.
Our appreciation to the Elk Complex Toome for the lovely refreshments and use of their facilities.
Finally, to Marrion’s Funeral Directors Randalstown who carried out the funeral in such a dignified and compassionate manor.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone, we hope that this acknowledgement is accepted as a token of our gratitude.
Gerard’s month’s mind Mass will take place on Saturday April 29th at 7.00pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church Moneyglass.
