The death has occurred of:
Thomas (Tommy) Breslin
We, the family of the late Thomas (Tommy) Breslin would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us during our recent heartbreaking loss.
A special thank you to friends, family and neighbours who called to our home during this difficult time. Your quiet support and kindness meant more to us than words can say.
To the many kind businesses, neighbours and friends who brought and sent food to the family home. Your generosity and thoughtfulness brought great comfort to us at this time.
Thank you to everyone who sent Mass and sympathy cards, messages of condolences, and to everyone who attended Tommys funeral Mass.
We are deeply grateful to John, Paul, Roisin and Len at John McKeegan Funeral Undertakers, who not only looked after Tommy with the utmost care and respect, but also supported our family so compassionately. To the gravediggers for preparing Tommys final resting place, we will always be thankful.
Thank you to Canon Jimmy McPhillips for your unwavering support during this difficult time and for the beautiful, fitting homily and funeral mass. An extended thank you to Fr. Jason Murphy (Redhills) for co celebrating the Mass.
We are indebted to the musicians who travelled from far and wide, whose music so perfectly expressed Tommys love for music.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the staff at Maple Group practice for the exceptional care and dignity shown to Tommy throughout his illness, who went above and beyond. We offer our sincere thanks to the entire staff at Cavan General Hospital, Altnagelvin Area Hospital and paramedics who done their utmost for Tommy and our family. Your attentive care, kindness and compassion will always be remembered with sincere gratitude.
We will never forget the beautiful guard of honour formed for Tommy by Skip Services Enniskillen and FP McCanns. To the numerous neighbours and friends who respectfully stood out when Tommy made his journey from the Funeral Home to Crocknane, and then on his final journey to Holy Cross Church. Your presence was a touching tribute at such a difficult time.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Tullymill Restaurant for providing the food, St. Mary’s Parish Hall and funeral committee who generously gave up their time to serve the food after the funeral.
As a family, we are overwhelmed by the support we have received. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our appreciation and gratitude to each and every one of you.
Tommys Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church, Lisnaskea on Sunday 24th May at 11am.
“You are an angel now in heaven, no more struggles you can rest, life wont be the same without you, God only takes the best.
Your “wee corner” is now empty now that you have gone, no one will ever fill your boots your legacy will live on.
“For a wee man, I was a strong one”
You fought so hard to the bitter end, we have not only lost our father, but also our best friend.
As our guardian angel you’ll guide us through the hard times on the way, in our hearts there lies a place for you, we only wish that you could stay”.
Deeply loved and sadly missed by your heartbroken family.
