Thomas (Tommy) McDOWELL
The wife and family of the late Tommy McDowell would like to extend our sincere thanks to those who supported us during his brief illness.
To the extended family, friends and neighbours, who attended the wake and funeral, brought mass cards, flowers, or gave donations in lieu to the Foyle Hospice, your support was gratefully appreciated. A special note of thanks to those who travelled long distances to be with us.
Thanks to Fathers Farren and Doherty for their contribution to the requiem mass and burial, and for their attendance at the wake. Thanks also to Ann-Marie and Aidan for the beautiful music they provided at the service, and to Father Gormley for visiting us during the wake.
We extend our gratitude and thanks to Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and for their support to the family during this difficult time.
We would like to thank the hospital staff; paramedics and staff at Altnagelvin A&E and ICU, who took care of Tommy during his short illness. They showed great empathy and consideration.
Thanks also to our family and neighbours for their continued support.
Tommy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held in St. Eugene's Cathedral on Sunday 15th October 2023 at 12:30pm.
