Died - 6th September 2026
The family of the late Tommy Morrison wish to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with us and supported us on the recent loss of our dearly beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all those who paid their respects, sent mass and sympathy cards, flowers and messages of condolences. We were emotionally touched by the number of people who attended the house for Tommy's wake and attended his funeral mass.
We want to give a special word of thanks to everyone who helped with refreshments and those who brought food and other helpful gestures of kindness. We are very grateful to Doherty's Bakery and The Crusty Bap for their contributions. We also sincerely thank our extended family who supported us during the wake including Pat Anderson, we appreciate this a lot.
We are especially grateful to the carers in the community who looked after Tommy and to the staff at Altagelvin Hospital. We also thank the staff and GPs at Aberfoyle Medical Practice. A special word of thanks to Fr. McGavigan for his comforting words and funeral mass and to Michelle and Declan for the beautiful singing and music.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to Mr. Kieran Connor and his staff at McClafferty Funeral Directors for the compassion, dignity and professionalism shown to our family throughout.
We have been deeply touched by the overwhelming love and compassion shown by our family, friends, neighbours and wider community which has been a great source of comfort during this sad time.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation.
Tommy's Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Patricks Church, Pennyburn on Wednesday 14th October 2026 at 7.00pm.
