Thomas KEARNEY

The family of the late Thomas Kearney wishes to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming sympathy and support we received during our recent bereavement. Your kindness has touched us deeply. We are grateful to everyone who visited the family home, travelled long distances, attended the funeral Mass and memorial service, watched the funeral services online, sent Mass or sympathy cards, offered messages of comfort, brought food, or provided assistance in any form.

We extend our gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Royal Victoria and Mater Hospitals, as well as the team of carers and nurses who provided excellent care and compassion to Dad at home.

Our sincere thanks go to Father Patrick O’Keefe, the Funeral Liturgy Group, especially Mr. Michael Shields and all the volunteers at St. Gerard’s Church for their spiritual guidance and support during the prayers at home, officiating the funeral mass, and leading the prayers at Dad’s burial.

Thank you also to the management and staff at Antrim and Newtownabbey Crematorium for their assistance in creating a very personal memorial service for our family.

We are also grateful to the Marley Family and Clodagh Kearney for their beautiful musical contributions.

Thank you to all who kindly gave or sent donations to Marie Curie via O’Kanes Funeral Directors in Dad’s memory.

Finally, the family expresses its gratitude to O’Kanes Funeral Directors, Belfast, for their professional and compassionate handling of all aspects of the funeral arrangements.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation.

The Month’s Mind Mass for the late Thomas Kearney will be celebrated on Sunday 9th November at 10:30 am at St. Gerard’s Church, Antrim Road, Belfast. The service can also be viewed online via the church webcam.

With heartfelt thanks,
Paul, Raymond, Elaine, Desmond, Gerard and Kieran.
