We the mother, father, brothers, sister's grandparents, nephew and girlfriend and wider family circle of Thomas Lagan, would like to thank everyone for showing us nothing but love and sympathy during the worst days of our lives.
I would like to thank Christopher Eastwood who was first on scene with Thomas, I pray you find peace knowing you were there and tried, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for not leaving my son.
To all the police, fire brigade, ambulance service and air ambulance, I thank you for attending quickly, I thank you for handling our Thomas with great care and in a dignified manner.
To Fr. Boyle thank you for the beautiful service, you blessed our hearts more than you know, may God bless you.
To Thomas's favourite bar Ma Quinns. You ladies are amazing, you took over when I couldn't think straight, you organised everything from food to clothes absolutely everything. I see how much Thomas meant to you all and I am eternally grateful.
To the women who became tea ladies for 5 days straight, you girl's are worth so much more than you realise. You all hold a special place in my heart.
To all businesses that sent food to our home thank you for your kindness.
To all my son's friends I don't think i could of done this without you all. What you pulled off was amazing. My son definitely picked the best boy's and girl's out there. Know that I love you all my door is always open and I will always be here for you all.
A massive thank you to Niall A. Loughran Funeral Directors, you girl's are worth your weight in gold. You went above and beyond for Thomas. My son came home just perfect. You carry yourselves with a kind of grace no-one can explain. Your love and compassion burns in my heart.
Also to the Cookstown Council grave diggers thank you so much for preparing my son's final resting place. Thank you for taking great care of our graveyard all year round you guys are amazing at what you do for us as a community.
Thomas Lagan's monthsmind will be held on 15th November at 6pm in Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown.
After mass we will be going to Ma Quinns.
