The family of the late Thomas Sloan wish to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with them during their recent loss. We are deeply grateful to everyone who visited our home, attended the funeral, sent mass and sympathy cards and shared messages of condolence. All your kindness and support have been a great comfort to us during this difficult time.
We also wish to extend our thanks to all those who provided and helped serve refreshments at our family home at the time of the wake, the level of generosity and kindness was overwhelming and their efforts are greatly appreciated. Also, thanks to everyone who donated to Thomas’ chosen charity Prostate Cancer.
We also wish to express our appreciation to Father Ciaran Dallat for conducting Thomas’ Requiem Mass. Thank you also to Bernie and Marty Campbell for providing the beautiful music. Thank you to Patsy and the staff of Down Funeral Directors for carrying out the funeral arrangements and to the grave diggers for taking care of the grave.
Thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Clough Surgery, Ulster Hospital, Palliative Care/community team who cared for Thomas. Thanks also to the staff at Clough Pharmacy.
A special thanks to Teconnaught GAC for the use of their facilities and to Wrap & Roll for the catering after the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please know your support was truly appreciated by us all. We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our sincere appreciation and thanks to you all.
Thomas’ Month’s Mind Mass will be held in Holy Family Church, Teconnaught, on Saturday 14 February at 7pm.
