On his Month's Mind, Tom's family would like to thank all those who offered sympathy on the loss of a very special and much loved husband, dad, father-in-law, granda, brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

We are very thankful for the kindness, love and comfort shown to us by our extended family, friends, colleagues, our CCÉ Cappagh Badoney family and the wider Comhaltas community.

Thank you to everyone who left food for us , phoned and messaged us and to those, all over the world, who prayed for Tom when he was ill, and continue to pray for and support us.

We are extremely grateful to the nurses and doctors in the Intensive Care Unit and Ward 22 at Altnagelvin Hospital for the care they showed Tom and for the support they gave to our family while he was ill.

Thank you to Father Colhoun for his praying for, and with, our family.

A special thanks to Father Donnelly for his prayers and support and for a very special Requiem Mass for Tom.

We would also like to thank Christine Quinn, the Sacristan, John McCullagh and family who prepared Tom's final resting place, the undertakers Kieran Kirk and Arthur McGurk and to Pearse O'Kane and the members of Glenelly CLG for their help on the day of the funeral and their guard of honour.

A special thank you to Zoë Conway for the beautiful music during Tom's requiem Mass.

As a family, we were moved by the number of people who joined with us in Tom's funeral Mass online and by everyone who showed their respect along the roadside as we made our way with Tom to the Chapel.

Thank you to the musicians who made our journey to the Chapel so special and to the musicians who played at his graveside, keeping Tom's legacy alive with such beautiful traditional music.

We are also touched by the hundreds of Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters sharing memories of Tom, social media tributes, messages and support we have received over the last month and the kind donations to both the Intensive Care Unit at Altnagelvin Hospital and CCÉ Cappagh Badoney Branch.

Tá muid buíoch díbh as a bhfuil déanta agaibh le sólás croí a thabhairt dúinn.

Have you considered?
